At 9 a.m., Irvin begins to sit on his watermelon placemat–erect and ernest–in anticipation of his 10:00 installment of wet food.
If only Marmie would build me a screened in porch.
Marmie has entered the 21st century.
She tossed out her old tube tv.
And purchased a new flat screen.
I must report, this television has a downside.
I am not thrilled about being forced to endure the endless cries of uncared for babies while Marmie catches up on missed HD episodes of Teen Mom.
However, I have begrudgingly put up with these fur raising wails just so long as I’m able to hide out in the extra large television box.
As much as I love boxes, I can’t help but consider I may have gotten the raw end of this deal.
Grammie has painted another kitty.
It’s her 4th in her series featuring animals and the furniture they own. I think it’s my favorite!

Whew! What a long weekend.
I am all tuckered out after a fun few days celebrating Diddy’s birthday.
I think I’ll spend the rest of the weekend doing some gentle yoga postures.
And catching up on some Zzzzzz’s.
As you may have guessed, Marmie has not once stayed home from work to play ModKicker with me this week.
I decided to retaliate.
By timing my afternoon nap perfectly to her arrival home, I was able to remind Marmie just why it is so important to keep her cat entertained.
Good morning, Marmie!
How about you call off work and play ModKicker with me all day long?
Marmie and I have been enjoying her week off. We’ve been spending all of our time snuggling and none of our time blogging.
Instead of showing you cuddly picture after cuddly picture,
I’ll direct you to grammie’s blog. She has another animal painting up for ebay auction:
Marmie has this week off.
This means we get to spend lots of time together.
This also means we are getting a lot of use out of Diddy’s big screen tv.
Marmie likes to watch the tv, but I prefer to relax near its warmth.
