  1. That was me who “liked” this post!! Forgot to switch back over to Cody! OMG Link’s expression is priceless and purrfect!!!

Can’t wait to see how it goes! 🙂

  2. Uh Oh,Link, but let me tell you that is a whole lot better than having your claws removed. That is the meanest thing anyone can do to a cat. Remove their toenails. So maybe those soft claws will work. Take care.

  3. Oops. LOL. Maybe you need another kind of scratcher, though. Nicki likes to scratch horizontally (on the carpet, for instance) and Derry prefers to scratch vertically.

Good luck with those Soft Claws! 😛

Those are awful! Mommy and Daddy wrestled me down and after about a half hour of the swearing noises and many scratches, they gots them on me. It took me 5 minutes to get them off! Hee Heee
Can’t wait to see you at Kozmo’s Pawty tomorrow, we can share shredding tips!

  5. DESTRUCTIVE SCRATCHING?

    No such thing.

  6. Let us know how they work out. Mom thinks Audrey could benefit from some. But only if they work out to be easy and not what catfromhell says.

  7. Good luck to your Mom!!!! We hope she has the first aid kit handy.

  8. Well Link, since your sisal and carpet scratcher is pristine while the furniture has a few claw marks, it seems to me that the furniture offers a more attractive scratching surface for you! So instead of the Soft Claws, I think your human should cover your scratcher in the same material as the furniture currently has and recover the couch and chair in sisal and carpet. Doesn’t that sound like the PERFECT solution?

  9. Oh wow, did you get the PINK colored soft claws? I hope so!

  10. Or — furniture made of sisal? I found a great ottoman cube @ one of the Pets (Co or Smart, can never keep them straight; think it was Co) — stylish and a cave underneath for good measure. True, Bugs uses it as a step-stool up the escritoire, and doesn’t scratch — but maybe Link would?

    • He probably would. The thing is…he scratches EVERYTHING! He scratches his post (he gets treats when he does) AND the furniture. Thank goodness everything I own is hideous. But I’d like to get some nicer furniture in the near future…ya know?

  11. Oh Link! We scratch a lot too, even though we have lots of things to scratch other than furniture. There’s some sticky tape you can get for furniture and she put it on all the places on the furniture that we like to scratch. And it really helped stop us scratching.

  12. Hannah isn’t much of a scratcher but Lucy loves one on the scratch post but now and again she loves a little go on the living room carpet! Luckily the fence outside take a lot of the damage!!Please keep those soft claws on and be good Link.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  13. OMG!!! What are the peoples going to do to you!??! Dad says that our kitties must be declawed before we get new furntiture. Mom says no. I think the kitties will be safe. But mom is interested in how these work for you…or actually how it works for your Marmie to put them on you!!!

  14. Uh oh Link….we hope your Marmie has no problems putting those on you we hear that they are life savers.
